How much does a Mediterranean cruise REALLY cost for a family of 3? 🚢💸 This cruise was advertised at about $1,299 per person — but after gratuities, excursions, specialty dining, and everything we spent onboard, our actual cruise cost came out to about $6,500–$7,000 for our family of three. And that does NOT include our flights to Europe, pre-cruise hotels, or everything I bought to prepare for the trip. This breakdown is strictly what we spent on the cruise experience itself. In this video, I’m breaking down exactly where the money went, including: • Our base cruise fare + Club Suite • Norwegian Cruise Line’s Free at Sea package • Unlimited drinks + the gratuities attached to the package • Specialty dining • Cruise gratuities/service charges • Shore excursions vs. DIY port days • Onboard spending • Laundry, bottled water, Starbucks, room service & more • What I would spend again — and what I absolutely would not • Whether I think a Mediterranean cruise is actually worth it I also share some of the decisions that made the trip better, including why I loved booking a guaranteed cabin, how we saved money by doing some ports ourselves, and why one excursion in Corfu was a 1/10 while another day in Santorini was a 10/10. THE FINAL VERDICT: For us? YES — it was worth it. But I would NOT call this a $1,299-per-person trip. Once everything was added up, it was much closer to a $7,000 Mediterranean experience for three people. And honestly, I would do it again.
