Marmaduke’s Lodge Leesburg FL full restaurant review & tour. First-time visit on National Cheeseburger Day — smash burger, Elote corn dip, massive BLT, and the menu inside downtown Leesburg. First time at Marmaduke’s Lodge in downtown Leesburg after a recommendation — and we’re glad we went. We tour the inside, walk through the menu, and eat our way through National Cheeseburger Day specials, daily deals, and some of the best bites we’ve had in Lake County. They run strong daily deals including all-you-can-eat wings and $1 wings. We started with the Elote Corn Dip — stinkin’ good and some of the best we’ve ever had. A viewer suggested the smash burger, so we ordered the classic Smash Melt. They accidentally brought a double and it was massive and tasty. We finally found potato salad we actually liked. The BLT was huge and tasty (we added broccoli). Banana bread was sold out so we tried the strawberry shortcake ice cream sandwich — sweet but good. Nice staff, solid downtown Leesburg spot.
